As followers of Jesus, we need to develop a heightened sensitivity to the Lord and abide in His Word. When we do, we will hear God's voice just by walking with Him. We will see, hear, know, and understand God's ways and His heart.

Scripture tells us that as we abide in Him, we are transformed into His glorious image little by little (2 Corinthians 3:18). In fact, we become agents of transformation that advance the Kingdom of Light in the earth.

It is not too difficult to notice a new spiritual hunger in people. The media is overflowing with TV shows
and movies related to spirituality. Psychics and palm readers that once only operated in carnival sideshows now occupy plush offices and mall kiosks.

With this increase in occult and spiritual interest one can not help wondering if dark spiritual forces have invaded society. I believe we are seeing this spiritual renaissance because God Himself is planting a spiritual hunger in people and they are searching for understanding and fulfillment.

Wide Open Season of Evangelism

We have entered into a wide open season of evangelism. People are starving for truth. The world and it’s pleasures have fallen short in satisfying spiritual hunger, so seekers search in various places to find something to fill the God shaped hole in their hearts.

New age, psychics and different forms of religions give a pseudo relief to their quest for real truth, but lasting effects are temporal at best and come with a price that isn’t fully recognized until the seeker is fully committed and entrenched in the underlying deception.
